The majority of the 57,000 clients in Iowa that rely on Planned Parenthood for their reproductive health care are low-income, at or below the federal poverty level. PPVI is their voice in the political process. We fight to maintain and expand access to reproductive health care and reproductive justice. It all starts with electing the right leaders. That’s why PPVI PAC endorses pro-choice, pro-family planning candidates running for state-level office across Iowa. As a non-partisan organization we have historically endorsed both Democrats and Republicans. In 2008, 70% of the candidates we endorsed won their elections.
